テニスのコーチングは相性もあるから、まったく異なる国籍なのによほど錦織くんと
合うんだろうなっていうのを改めて感じます。

サーブの改善はこの中で体力消費抑えるという点で非常に有用だけど改善点の一部でしかない
1にも2にもサーブという論調の人にはこれら他の要素よりもサーブが明確に大切であるという根拠が何かあるんだろうか

今年はTOP8を維持するのも簡単ではなさそうだ。

ただし、もし200kmを超えるサーブを頻繁に打てるように・・・などの短絡的なスピード重視を
指している指摘だとしたら、それは全く無意味だとは思います。
サービスフォームは全豪を見る限り良くなってきていたように思いましたし、恐らく本人や
コーチ陣も何度も話し合って原因究明や対策を練って改善している途中ではないでしょうか。

なんだかんだで一流のコ－チなんだろうね。
とはいえ相性が良すぎる弊害もあるんだよな。
のびのびやらせて長所を伸ばすダンテのスタイルは錦織向きなんだろうけど
トップを目指すには限界があるし、
気が合いすぎ＆付き合い長すぎて緊張感はなくなっていそう。
チャンが引き締めることで、絶妙なバランスが保たれてるんだと思う。
まあでもどちらか一人を残せと言われたら

1年のほとんどを飛行機に乗って世界中を旅する孤独なスポーツテニスにおいて
帯同するコーチとの相性はすごく大切だけど、もし言われているように慣れ合い
みたいになっていたならちょっと良くはないですね。
自分は今も昔もダンテと慣れ合いになってはいないと思ってるけど、少し前から
掌からはほぼ離れているのかな？とは思う時はあります。
極端にいうと、そばにいてくれさえしたら特に技術的な指導はしなくても
ある一定の結果を持ち帰ってこれるだけの力が錦織君にはもうあるかと・・。
もちろんそこまで育てたにはダンテの力も大きく関わっているし、メンタル面や
その他テレビに映らないこまかな仕事など、技術面も含めてこれからも彼は必要
だと思います。それに今はダンテにとっても修行中でもあると思うし・・。
何となくだけど、ダンテだけが育てていた頃は必要十分な攻撃力があり身のこなしが軽く
切れ味鋭い”ゼロ戦”のイメージで、今よりももっとソリッドな選手だったかなと。
チャンが加わってからは、少し鈍重でキャタピラをやられたら動けなくなるが、
動けさえすれば1発の威力を発揮できるタイガー戦車のイメージが加わった。
よくわからない例えで笑えるが、とりあえずダンテにチャンが加わって本当に
良かったと思ってます。あわよくばこれからもう少しだけ昔のゼロ戦の頃の
ソリッドなイメージに戻ってほしいかなと。
その為には軽快さやセンスの良さという錦織くんの本来の持ち味を1大会を通して
発揮できるだけの体力がいるため、日々の地道な鍛錬が必要となるががんばって
ほしいです。
