Anyway, 4channers usually flock to other English-speaking chans, like 7chan, but 7chan is going through changes.
Some even go to foreign chans like Russian or Japanese ones.
As for when 4chan will be back, I am not sure. I'd like to know myself.
Older 4chan users go to iichan. Newer ones go to 7chan or 420chan.

I do not go to 4chan. It is a waste of time. One should stay FAR AWAY from 4chan. The last time I checked, it was full of drug addicts and high-school dropouts. The quality of 4chan has been steadily declining over the years.

Firefox is more 4chan friendly. The tabbed browsing is better (unless you're using IE7), and there are a few 4chan Firefox extensions.
